Sleeping upright pillow which you can use for lots of different reasons. So the wedge pillow is shaped like so it's triangular and let me show you it flat on like so and like so. It's covered it in a machine washable velour cover and I've actually selected a very specific foam, which is high-density for those of you who, like something that's a little bit more firm, it's not squidgy and soft, so it won't mold or bend.
So, in terms of the positions that you can use it in one position it can be used in which is one of its main positions, is to set you upright in bed just like so so you place it at your headboard and you bring your bottom up towards it, and that means that when you're reading or lying in bed, you can actually be a lot more upright, as opposed to being shaped and slumped like you are in your car all day, long or sitting on the sofa or sitting at work.
So this allows you to sit more upright so that you can read your book or play on the iPad or even watch TV in this upright supported position. This is particularly good for those of you that spend time in bed. In addition, it can also be used as a kind of lap tray, so for those of you who want to read or use your iPad in bed which, by the way, I don't normally recommend it, can be used just like so so that you can place whatever You've got on your lap and use it in this position. One of its other uses is to elevate your legs in bed. So, by placing it at the end of the bed, you can put your leg on top of it and at the end of a long day, when your legs are tired and achy, you can elevate your legs, tired, achy and swollen, so that your ankle is higher than your knee and if you're swollen, it will help drain the fluid down, but it's also a very comfortable position to line at the end of a day.
If you pivot it around, you can actually place it underneath your knees and the bending your knees is a lot more relaxed. Many of my patients with back problems and knee problems are always looking for something but can actually allow them to bend at their knees. And finally, its last use - but I'm sure you can think of many more - is for those of you that want to have a bit of a firm support when you're lying on your back just to be elevated, some people with digestive problems or breathing problems like to sleep slightly higher up than usual, and this is great for it.
