Why would you so today, I'm a be talking about the three different sizes, I'm not a, be discussing the big squares or anything decorative, I'm talking about the three sleeping pillow sizes today, so the three sizes are standard queen and king standard and queen are Two separate sizes and why I say that and why it's confusing is because pillowcases are just one size and that size is called standard Queen. So a standard queen pillowcases pillowcase will obviously fit the standard, but we'll have more floppy overhang at the edge.
But it will also fit the queen pillow a little better, but the typically, unless you order a custom, can't find a pillow that only fits standard. It's open-ended. It fits both, and I think that's where some of the confusion is so the difference in actual measurements is a standard. Pillow is twenty by twenty six and a queen is twenty by thirty. So you do have four extra inches on a queen.
Why would you use the standard you'd use a standard, maybe on a twin bed or you would use two standards on a double bed, will fill it perfectly and then you'd probably use Queens on a queen bed more likely. However, having said all that a lot of people don't like to sleep with the king pillow, even if they have a king bed, because it's so long, the king pillow is twenty by thirty six. So you really, you have ten inch or ten inches more than the standard pillow and you know, although it fills a king bed beautifully side-by-side, I myself find it quite long and cumbersome to sleep.
I always prefer to sleep on a queen, so what you would do in that case on a king-size bed is, you could have two decorative kings that fill the length and then sleep on Queens behind or sleep on three standards behind there's.
Um, you know some people like to sleep on a king pillow. The other thing that you probably also want to take into account is on a twin bed. A king actually fits perfectly twin. Bed is 39 inches. The king pillow is 36, so what you will often find is one king pillow, acting as kind of a back headboard sort of thing or a bolster and behind.
