Noemi Sharpe Pillow October 08th, 2018 - 03:02:02
Donuts pillow and the first thing you're going to need is some a tan fabric which is going to act as the donuts portion of the pillow, and I just fold it over once and then put something circular on top I'm just using my ring light, and this is going to determine how big your pillow is going to be. So I'm just tracing that out and then cutting it with some scissors and once you have that cutout, you'll need something smaller to place in the center for the donuts hole.
So just go ahead and trace that I cut that out as well. Then, once everything is cut out, you can go ahead and start hot gluing the edges, but make sure you don't glue the inner circle yet or else you won't be able to slip your fabric inside out and you want to leave a hole. Big enough. Your hand to get into, or else you won't be able to stuff your doughnut.
So now you can just go ahead and flip the fabric inside-out, and here you can see the seam doesn't look completely perfect, but it looks all right for being hot glued. But now you can go ahead and start hot gluing the center circle into place. Since I wanted my donuts to have pink frosting, I used pink fabric, of course, and I'm just sketching out the shape. I wanted the frosting to be then again you're just going to cut that out and glue it right on top of the donuts.
Now that we have this deflated, looking donuts, you can start to stuff it, and I just get my stuffing from Jo-Ann's, but I'm pretty sure you can get it at any kind of craft store and once we get to the hole that we left open, it gets a little tricky, but you just want to glue little bits and then add some more stuffing and just continue doing that until the whole thing is closed and of course a donuts is not complete without sprinkles, so I'm just using some bright neon, acrylic paints and putting them randomly all over the top of the donuts, and basically the shape of the sprinkle is just like a line with rounded edges, so it's super easy to do so. That is how I made my donuts pillow.
