Kerry Greene Pillow October 09th, 2018 - 06:28:17
I just think it makes it look really cozy inviting and it's really fun - to have cool different, throw pillows on your couch. There were several other throw posts that I did want to purchase and one was in this Dalmatian print and then another one was like a gold foiled, polka dot. Looking one like, I said, these pillowcase covers do not run cheap and I was just I got to thinking one day I was like okay, I can't spend like five hundred dollars on pillowcase covers.
So I was like I'm gonna find out where these people get this fabric because I could probably just make it so anyway, I went online and I went to fabric command I ended up typing in like Dalmatian print, and I got this one and the material is really nice and thick. It's a really nice material. I cut the first piece of fabric 21 by 21 inches, and here it is right here, real quick. I also just wanted to let you guys know why I do 21 by 20 inches when the pillow is 20 by 20.
It's just because I like to leave myself a little bit work a little bit of room when I'm sewing that way. Just in case I mess up or something I have a little room to work with, and then what I want to do, instead of having to sew a zipper on it or anything, is I'm doing it kind of like a pillow sham. So I'm doing a flap-like opening in the back, so this piece I caught 21 by 13 inches, I cut to 21 by 13 inches. So now I have my two flaps sewed.
At the very end, this is going to be the front of the pillow. This is going to be the back okay. I had to lay this on the floor to show you guys what I'm going to be sewing next. So what I just sewed was my two little flaps in the back, so I have one here and I just sewed the very end of it and then one here which I did the same. So this piece right here, which is 21 by 20 inches. This is going to be the front of our pillow.
